The SS Apollo is a premium muzzle brake designed specifically for performance applications. Constructed from 416R stainless steel components, our SS brakes are built to withstand the harshest conditions while delivering consistent, high-level performance. The Apollo-sized brake offers a compact profile for a cleaner look on smaller diameter barrels and is optimized for calibers with modest recoil, while still capable of taming larger calibers like the .300 Win Mag.

Like all Highland Canyon muzzle brakes, the SS Apollo utilizes our patented two-piece design. The caliber-specific insert features radial baffles that redirect expanding gases into the outer body vents. These vents are machined at a rearward, upward angle to provide optimal recoil reduction while virtually eliminating muzzle rise—critical for faster follow-up shots, as it helps you keep your target in sight and spot your own impacts through the scope.

This design also significantly reduces felt recoil, improving shooter comfort and control during extended range sessions. The exhaust pattern further minimizes ground disturbance when shooting prone, helping reduce dust and debris that can obstruct your field of view.

Available in 1/2 - 28 or 5/8 - 24 threading with either a black Cerakote finish or raw stainless steel, the SS Apollo offers versatility across a wide range of firearms.
